Located just West of Dover, Delaware; Gambler's Choice is a full service Equestrian Center and boarding facility.
Whether you are a beginner, new to the exciting world of horses, or have been riding for years, our focus is on
helping you to achieve your equestrian goals. Our school horses are all safe, friendly and experienced. Our
facilities are meant to keep our riders and horses safe, comfortable and happy. You are never too young or

Gambler's Choice Equestrian Center features a 18 stall barn, a 10 stall barn, with 3 tack
stalls and a wash stall with hot water. On-site laundry room, heated lounge, and bathroom.
All stalls include sliding doors and all have rubber mats. Both indoor and outdoor arenas feature
elevated judges stands, along with a on-site PA system for events. Our 100' x 200' clear span indoor arena
allows for all weather riding and a 150' x 300' outdoor sand arena.
As the home of the
DSU Hornets Equestrian Team, our facilities are equipped for Western and English riding. Our
farm manager is also the English coach for the DSU equestrian team.
Our pastures are reseeded yearly. Soil samples and seed types are managed to provide high yeild, high quality pasutres.
Great care and attention is provided to managing the fields. Seed type, soil quality, and fertilizer needs are all checked
each year by way of soil samples and consultation with local university agricultural experts.
Fencing is monitored and checked regularly. All repairs are made immediately to ensure equine safety.

**Seeding of fields occur in late fall/early spring each year.
The East Barn consists of (8) 12' by 12' stalls, a wash stall with hot
and cold water, a laundry room, bathroom, tack room, feed room, lounge &
office. This is our main barn, is heated, and has concrete flooring.
West Barn
The West Barn consists of (8) 12' by 12' stalls, (2) 10' by 12' stalls,
tack room, feed room, bay, and storage room. This barn is our secondary barn and has concrete flooring.
10 Stall Barn
This barn has (10) 12'x12' stalls, a tack room, and office. This barn has concrete flooring.
Again, with safety in mind, we offer the following guidelines for appropriate dress
while riding with us at Gambler's Choice Equestrian Center:
SEI/ASTM Helmets must be worn by ALL RIDERS when mounted.
Gambler's Choice provides helmets for our beginning students until they have the
opportunity to purchase their own.
Proper footwear is required. Boots should have a hard sole and 1/2" heel.
Paddock boots are recommended.
Straight leg jeans are appropriate for beginning lessons. Students may find that
breeches or jodphurs are more comfortable as they progress.
T-shirts, polos and the like are appropriate top layers. As the weather cools,
students will want to add sweatshirts, polar fleece and/or waist length jackets
for warmth.
Riding gloves are appropriate for all riders, year round.
