Gambler's Choice, located just West of Dover, Delaware; is a full service Equestrian Center and boarding facility.
Purchased in 2007, what used to be "Magical Acres" became Gambler's Choice Equestrain Center, LLC., a family owned
business. Situated on 55 acres of countryside of West Dover in the center of Delaware.
It isn't like boarding with someone who has an extra stall available, at Gambler's Choice there is always someone
around. We have volunteers, staff and visitors. Your equine will not be isolated and lonely. Your equine will have
access to other horses or ponies, there is constant supervision and they will be cared for by people who know and
love equines.
Whether you are a beginner, new to the exciting world of horses, or have been riding for years, our focus is on
helping you to achieve your equestrian goals.Our school horses are all safe, friendly and experienced. Our facilities
are meant to keep our riders and horses safe, comfortable and happy. You are never too young or too old to begin

Gambler's Choice Equestrian Center features 28 stalls, with 3 tack
stalls and a wash stall with hot water. On-site laundry room, heated lounge, and bathroom.
All stalls include sliding doors and all have rubber mats. Both indoor and outdoor arenas feature
elevated judges stands, along with a on-site PA system for events. Our 100' x 200' clear span indoor arena
allows for all weather riding and a 150' x 300' outdoor sand arena.
As the home of the
DSU Hornets Equestrian Team, our facilities are equipped for Western and English riding.

Our pastures are reseeded yearly. Soil samples and seed types are managed to provide high yeild, high quality pasutres.
Great care and attention is provided to managing the fields. Seed type, soil quality, and fertilizer needs are all checked
each year by way of soil samples and consultation with local university agricultural experts.
Fencing is monitored and checked regularly. All repairs are made immediately to ensure equine safety.

Our 100' x 200' clear span indoor arena allows for all weather riding.
The arena is watered and harrowed regularly to limit dust and to refresh footing. New footing
was installed in the spring of 2008. From the lighting to the maintenance equipment, to the
devotion to excellence, Gambler's Choice wants you to enjoy every trip to the farm.
The indoor arena provides comfort when it's hot outside and when the weather just
doesn't permit riding comfortably outdoors. The indoor arena also has lights for night riding.
Our 150' x 300' outdoor sand arena is surrounded by a 3' fence and is
equipped with jumps.
Both indoor and outdoor arenas feature elevated judges stands, along with a on-site PA system
for events. A selection of raised cross rails, letters and cones are available to help you
simulate a competitive atmosphere during your training sessions.

Our horse boarding stables are conveniently located less than an hour
each from Wilmington, Dover and Harrington. We are less than 45 minutes from Wilmington, less than 10 minutes
from Dover, 45 minutes from Harrington, and 5 minutes from Dover Downs. We board
horses for the horse enthusiast who loves riding horses through
woods in the peaceful atmosphere of our 55 acre farm, who wants daily access to
ride and to train in an indoor arena or in a outdoor arena, and who
wants most of the daily maintenance to be cared for. We tend to your horses whether
you're here or not. Just let us know your instructions, and we'll try to
accommodate your requests. We welcome you to our farm.

Again, with safety in mind, we offer the following guidelines for appropriate dress
while riding with us at Gambler's Choice Equestrian Center:

SEI/ASTM Helmets must be worn by ALL RIDERS when mounted.
Gambler's Choice provides helmets for our beginning students until they have the
opportunity to purchase their own.

Proper footwear is required. Boots should have a hard sole and 1/2" heel.
Paddock boots are recommended.

Straight leg jeans are appropriate for beginning lessons. Students may find that
breeches or jodphurs are more comfortable as they progress.
|
|
T-shirts, polos and the like are appropriate top layers. As the weather cools,
students will want to add sweatshirts, polar fleece and/or waist length jackets
for warmth.

| Riding gloves are appropriate for all riders, year round.
|
|
